Grey’s 400th Episode Expected To Exceed Expectations

Avid Grey’s Anatomy fans have been a bit disappointed with the new seasons. Since Shonda stopped writing for the show and Krista took over, the show has been missing its “wow” factor and we have all noticed. Krista seems to be determined to get that back.

During season 16, Krista began bringing back some of our most loved characters such as Derek, George, Mark, and Lexie. In season 18 we see Ellis back on the show sporadically as well. Now, she is bringing back one of our most loved queens. That’s right, on May 5th we will be seeing Addison Montgomery return to our screen.

Walsh, who plays Addison, posted a video of her in her lab coat revealing she is coming back to the Grey’s Anatomy set. This is so exciting and a smart play on Vernoff’s end as fans have been talking about getting bored with the show. This will encourage us all to keep watching to see what’s in store.

The 400th episode, which will be the season 18 finale is set to be a very special episode that should meet or exceed Grey’s fans’ expectations. This could set the scene for season 19 which has already been announced to come. Fans are torn on if they want the show to continue or if they think it’s just too overdone at this point and should be wrapped up.

We all know now that Pompeo has also moved up from co-executive producer to executive producer for this season ! With Ellen sitting right next to Krista, does this mean we may have some juicer storylines? We all know ever since Shonda stopped writing for Grey’s, the whole feel of the show has been completely different. A lot of fans are saying the show hasn’t even been worth watching, while others still enjoy it thoroughly. Things are definitely different though. Maybe with Pompeo in this higher role, we will see more drama and more of the “old Greys” that we know and loved so much.

Ellen has not been shy about the fact that she is ready for the show to end. Ellen interviewed with Insider and said “I’ve been trying to focus on convincing everybody that it should end, I feel like I’m the super naive one who keeps saying, ‘But what’s the story going to be, what story are we going to tell?’” And everyone’s like, ‘Who cares, Ellen? It makes a gazillion dollars.’”

Let’s see what season 18 has left in store for us and hope that season 19 becomes something that brings us all back to loving the show and sitting on the edge of our seats until the next season!
