Grey’s Anatomy Has A Season 17 Premiere Date!

It’s official! We all knew that the Grey’s Anatomy cast got back to filming very recently. Now, we have the answer to the question we’ve all been asking! ABC’s medical drama will finally premiere on Thursday, November 12th. It will be a two-hour episode crossover with Station 19. It’s air time will be at 9 p.m ET.

We can finally start the countdown Grey’s fans! Things we know so far is that they will be addressing the human trafficking story again, and they will be addressing Covid-19. How will this season look compared to previous seasons? It really makes you wonder, will there be “hot and heavy” scenes? Will people be distanced out for the majority? It will be interesting to see how what the “new normal” is going to be these days!

“We’re going to start the season about a month and a half [into] full COVID, so it’s going to take place a little beyond where we left off in the last season,” Gianniotti said. “We might have some flashbacks. We might have some things where we’re referencing last season, just to have context leading up. But we are going to have a little leap when we start this season in terms of time. We’re not picking up right where we left off.”

We are SO READY!! What do you guys think will happen next? Do you think anybody will die of Covid-19? What is it going to be like without Alex there? There are so many questions we need answers to! November is only about a month and a half away but it really feels too far!

So get ready guys! Start finishing up your 40th re-watch, get your popcorn, and let’s be ready! Krista, I hope with all this extra time you’ve had that we get a real season with heart-wrenching scenes like we are so used to and long for!
