We all know by now that Clay Jensen is also Ryan, the little boy who needed a new pair of ears for Halloween. One of the most common theories I’ve heard is that Ryan changed his name to Clay and those new ears allowed him to hear Hanna’s tapes on 13 Reasons Why.
It may be a stretch but hear me out. Addison moved and changed her name as well. She needed a new start in life. Although, in true Grey’s Anatomy fashion….her life was still Hell and the young girl she adopted, took her own life.
Now that Clay has his new ears, he was able to listen to all of the tapes and even help dissect them and try to uncover what made the tragic events that occurred, happen.
